*** 06 ~ Your fave Kazuya Kamenashi solo ***
It's this time of the challenge, huh? Truth be told, Kame was my bias in the group. He was my first ever bias in the Japanese fandom world. He looked really attractive with that tied up hairstyle. After seeing the Utaban performance, I ended up watching Johnny's Countdown 2009-2010 in full just so I can oggle at Kame in that same hairstyle. He looked really handsome and cool. I think that was a special moment as well since they were celebrating Kame's birth year animal zodiac. Coincidence? lol <3
My favorite for his solos is 1582. It's the second song I liked after getting into the fandom. (
See Day 01 for first song) I was particularly attracted to Kame's rendition of that song during the Break the Records Concert performance. That was also when I first heard the song. I have never seen such a theatrical performance in a supposedly rock/pop concert of an idol group before. I thought they can't do such. Well,Kame--and KAT-TUN as a whole--proved me wrong. It's so creative and beyond awesome. Well, it's Kame..we're talking about a creative and perfectionist human being here. :D
Then, I watched it again and this time focused on its lyrics. It's very intriguing and enigmatic. I spent days, months trying to decipher it. Even researched on it. I want to know what was on the songwriter's mind when those words were written. Later on, I figured it was written with Oda Nobunaga as an inspiration. Oda Nobunaga happened to be Kame's favorite historical personality. I must say, Oda Nobunaga is the only name I can remember from my Japanese history classes. lol . Then, I decided to put my curious mind to rest and just enjoy the song as it--as how I understand it to be, as how I imagine things were. A few months after that, a big revelation came.. *drumroll* Kazuya Kamenashi himself wrote the song. And I'm like "what the hell of poetic words.what an effin poetic creature". I was stunned, excited, glad, satisfied and happy.
Well, there goes my piece on my favorite Kazuya Kamenashi solo. I must say, from there on, I always look forward to his solos. To the parents of Kamenashi, you made one talented, smexy, gorgeous man. :)

P.S. Now, I make distinctions of ichiban and bias. Ichiban would be a word to describe the artists who have conquered a special spot in my world of admirations. Bias would be a word to describe who I like in a group and this word doesn't categorize my ichibans. Kazuya Kamenashi is among my ichibans. Nakamaru Yuichi is my bias. I just thought I have to make things clear just so those who knew previously about my feelings won't be confused.
