Mai/Zuko ficlet-ish type thing

As some of you are aware, I'm currently writing the first chapter of a pseudo-crossover AU fic, and it's taking me fucking forever due to lots of research and distractions and me... not really being in practice with writing fanfics.

Last night (a little drunk on 4th of July margaritas) I sat down and wrote about two pages, one of which is a scene

This totally happened out of nowhere! The main pairing of the AU is Aang/Katara (playing up the chosen one/protectoress otp thing VERY heavily), with Toph/Sokka and Mai/Zuko as side pairings. I didn't intend to go into the side pairings quite so much in the very first chapter, but in having to set up all the various plots that will run through the story I was just like "UHM WHY NOT?" 8D

HOPEFULLY THE FIRST CHAPTER WILL BE DONE VERY SOON! I still need to do a couple of art pieces to go with it before I can post, though. I'm aiming for next weekend.

An extremely mediocre anime called "El Cazador de la Bruja." The summary there is basically the main plot of my AU, but I've changed the characters and sub-plots a lot to fit Avatar, to make more sense, and to incorporate more accurate information about Mexico. Hope it works out like I want it to.
