I lost this prompt, but it goes something like: 'A rich Holmes spoils Watson rotten. Watson enjoys being kept in style.
~*~
Watson moves his meager possessions back into Baker Street exactly six weeks to the day Holmes returns from the 'dead'. He no longer has a bed, no longer owns a practice and his bank account is nearly as empty as the suitcase he carries up the stairs into their old rooms, once again bustling with life.
To his amusement, Holmes is busy tidying the study. He's made a solemn vow to be neater, made less believable in the circumstance it was given - during a cuddle in bed after hours of lovemaking where Watson is pretty sure Holmes would have promised him anything to get him to move back in.
He has, however, given up the cocaine, which is the only ironclad promise Watson has wrung from him as a condition of their reunion. Which, in turn, will probably make Holmes neater and more productive, which are good things

"You make me happy," Holmes murmurs, nuzzling Watson's neck. "Now go to your room and see if the delivery has arrived while I've kept you distracted here

"I'm afraid our coffers won't be quite as full for the foreseeable future," Holmes says one morning over breakfast, a few months later. "I hope you don't mind

I ACTUALLY JUST SQUAWK-SQUEALED WITH UNDILUTED GLEE. Retiring by the sea? FFFFUUUUUUUUU, it's only the perfect ending to the perfect fic. *le sigh* I'm going to re-read this fic whenever I need to make my day brighter. Everything about it was exceedingly lovely and everything I wanted for this fill.

I love Watson's reaction when he's told the lavish spending will calm down a bit "Oh thank god". Being spoiled like that would drive me crazy.
AND THERE'S BEES AT THE END. HOW COULD IT GET ANY BETTER. Now if only I could spoil YOU rotten.
