Yes this is about horse camp only read if you please.
So I'm at camo from 8:30 till 12:30. It's long, it's hot, it's dirty, but it's a hell of a good time. I ride a chestnut colored horse named Sparky. He's got a tan mane and tail, and a thick white stripe down the center of his face. It's very convienant that he's best friends with Celeste's horse Johnny. We (the unadvanced group, haha) rie in this arena everyday. Sparky is really lazy, and always tries to take short cuts. He was real stubborn yesterday and wouldn't really trot at all. To get horses to trot you have to kick them really hard oin the sides a few times and make clicking noises. But today in the morning I brought him an apple and apparently he liked it because he was better today. He trotted when I wanted him to and wasn't stubborn on turns as much, but sometimes if I was walking him he would start trotting. But I pretty much got the trot down, which is an accomplishment although it doesn't sound like much because riding a horse is not as easy as it looks. My ass and legs hurt so bad. Advil is my savior. So today after we were done riding Jodie, the owner of the ranch, turned on the sprinklers and we rode our horses through them bareback because you can't get the leather saddles wet. I tried trotting bareback, and it was scary because there's nothing to hang on to but the reins and the mane; I chose the mane. It was fun.
I'll try and take some pics and post 'em later.
Sorry for boring you.
