I wonder if my parents were as happy as I am when school started for me.

I do most of my stuff at night after the kids go to bed.  When there's no school, bedtime goes haywire, and I get nothing done.

Yay for the start of school!!!

Relieved, probably. It meant less time available for us to screw something up.

I vaguely remember my parents keeping me more on schedule with bed and wake up. Even with that, though, I like to think that they did.

It's also kinda reassuring that we're not the only ones for whom bedtime goes out the window.
