Yeah, the ND/USC game was really good-- my roommate kept yelling at the screen so I had to pay attention... very close, adn for some, unfair.

Once upon a time, I was thinking about moving to Hawaii. I applied for a training position there. Thank god I didn't get it. Apparently everything is really expensive there-- like milk is around $5 a gallon or something. And I hate to tan. But living on an island would be nice sometimes.

yeah. like i said. the exoticness is appealing. but after a while, all i'd wanna do is get OFF the island.

and i while i love to tan, it's not good for you. and sometimes excessive sun irritates my skin. i should prolly get that looked at ...

that's one of the many reasons why i like the lack of sun provided by the pacific northwest.

if you live on the windward side of the island (east, i think, because tropical prevailing winds blow east in the northern hemisphere...i think?), it rains at least once a day. i don't know about cloudiness, but the weather never gets very hot. the hottest days don't get too much higher than 80, because the island is surrounded by the world's largest mass of water. stuff is expensive, though, besides pineapples and macadamia nuts. those are dirt cheap.
