i think it's a very well done movie! it's smart, philosophical, but not too deep as to lose people. it makes its point, constructs the circumstances, develops the characters, and leaves you kinda warm at the end. not a brilliant movie, but a very good one that i definitely want to buy.

well, if either of you has a functioning car, i certainly wouldn't mind hosting you two for a weekend! it'd be lovely :) in fact, if you're interested, October 29th my house is hosting our Halloween Dance Party (its an official university function, so very safe) and if you'd like to come down for it, I'd take such good care of you! there is a terrible distance between us, and i look forward to closing it around thanksgiving time. much love. -ed
