after chatting with a woman who works where i am interning, she said to me, "yours is the most fascinating family i've heard of in my eight years of working here." though she certainly didn't lace her comment with any form of disgust, disapproval, or disdain, it bothered me a bit, insomuch as i've never considered my family to be anything ( Read more... )

s. carolina is not particularly warm (at least not in laurens).

as for the safe trip part, we've yet to return. we'll see what the road holds before us.

i hope you're doing well! enjoy the rest of your shows as best you can!
