I'm doing some interviews, for money, at www.associatedcontent.com. I'm unemployed and I REALLY need this. Because, as dinkydo has learned, it's hard to "get a bite" from anyone you've applied to. Well, maybe not for some people, with fancy educations and stuff, but for me it's been very hard. I need to earn some money, and people love to talk about

Amy / Payroll Specialist / Kansas City, MO.

2. What drew you to doing this?

Payroll? Nothing... I was a lit. major. Payroll fell in my lap.

3. Did you go to school for this, and if so, where? If not, how did you get into it?

Definitely not. I'm still a "senior", technically, in college.

4. Describe a day (or week, or month, or whatever) doing what you do.

Payroll is nice, because it's both varied *and* same old same old - every two weeks, something new, yet the same.

5. What are the pros and cons of your profession? (I don't mean just professionally, but personally as well.)

I hate math. Not a fan of numbers. Thus, it's unfulfilling.

6. What advice would you give to someone looking to get into this field?

Very cool! I wish I could use your interview but, as I posted later, they're only taking interviews from "famous" people. Have you ever dined with Gore Vidal? How about Ann Margret? :p

Cider (if only I could remember how to do lj usertags) wanted me to reply to you with my GG icon. It's a horrible tattoo of the GG on Mt Rushmore. Golden Girls is the best show ever.
