graduating in december of 05? what the fuck? ive got this year and two more years, and thats including winterim and summer classes. siegel, you are too on track. thats fucking crazy. but good for you. im starting to look into grad schools as well, and aside from new england music conservatory's faculty ignoring my emails, im hopeful one of those guys will return my fucking emails eventually and say: "hey casey, here is what you need to do to come to new england and experience the orgasm that is a masters program in contemporary improvisation and composition at a fucking conservatory filled with other people like you..." and i will probably have a heart attack from sheer joy assuming i can get in. what?
my advisor is pushing for December of '05, i'm not looking to graduate early because that will just leave me jobless earlier. Another downside to graduating in December is that I wouldn't start grad school until fall so i'd only have like 8 months to dedicate myself to a job, which at that point won't be enough for employers, so i'm stretching it out until May of '06 for sure.
Best of luck with the New England music program, it would be a shame for them not to accept you. If they don't take you in you can enter 'The Amy Siegel grad school for people that are motivated to go to grad school, but loathe the process'
P.S Libbie's is now sold and Cutter and I are both pretty sad about it.
P.P.S -It's not for financial reasons, so don't even think about spreading that rumor. If you feel compelled to know the real answer talk to me individually.

calm down there, mr. negativity. a friend of mine is going to new school now, he says it isnt what its cracked up to be. sounds cool, but thirty thousand dollars a year? i could go to one of the top music conservatories in the nation for less than that...blah blah blah
