Going to bed is hard

Is the yelling/screaming carryover from work?

As for nighttime pains... is Anathea expected to grow into a tall girl? In my (limited) experience, if you're a tall one, growing pains are a frequent fact of life.

I had growing pains FOR YEARS growing up. It was the worst, made it so hard to fall asleep.

I'm 5'10" and I had terrific leg pain as a kid... into my mid-teens. I remember getting up and pacing to try and get some relief.

Growing pains are REAL. And I'm not even tall.

Worse still for my poor parents, I was given to fits of anxiety and insomnia, and...er...still am. (Then: terror of imaginary spiders. Now: brain won't shut down.)

As for the actual going to bed - how old are they now? what time is bedtime? why are they taking so long to go to bed? Are they doing anything terribly exciting (thrilling stories, playacting) before bedtime?
