Phoebe went through a no phase and seemed done with it. She's rediscovered the habit though. What's most striking is how emphatic she can be. You might ask her if she wants help or something similarly nurturing and she'll shout, "NO!" at you and storm off. Mind you, she's 2.

Anathea is working on basic literacy and numeracy. She has been able to count well for some time (years). She also gets concepts of quantity and basic addition and subtraction, though she doesn't even remotely grasp the symbolic/abstract elements.
