Today is my first day in my new job. I am now officially a Democracy and Governance Specialist for the new Anti-Corruption program. Can you tell? Does it show? I think towanda is officially getting old. The other day for the first time I noticed that she smells like Henry, my roomate's old cat. and I don't think Henry last more than a few years after I met her.

Well, last week I went to open up LiveJournal and post as (somewhat) usual, when I put in the address and the usual scary "THIS SITE PROHIBITED" screen of fear came up, with a scare warning from the USAID office of security. we are now in the lego lounge of the miami airport. MIA is really a yucky airport, although I was pleased to see they have wifi available - if at $9.95 per 24 hour pass.
