Last year this was a physics practical test that resulted in me throwing up before the test, asking for the help card in the exam (which apparently no one has ever done in the history of townley, eh, I ( Read more... )

obsession isn't necessarily (never eat cheese east salmon sandwiches. one cup two sugars.) a bad thing. oh rea, i understand your revisioning of certain topics and ignoring others til the last minute. but i'm impressed that you can still remember the exam questions. my mind always forgets that as soon as i step out of the examination hall. are we still on for thursday geog revision? i was tihnking we could go over the dme? boring, yes, but needed!i'll bring surprisingly hearty soya sausages because they're GOOD!

Yep all still on because of the anticyclonic conditions, I feel this is a blocking anticyclone possibly? Anywho yep bring all the revision round including DME. We can do hazards if u want too, but we just kinda need to learn the stuff on the sheets and impacts are fairly common sensical, but bring it just in case. We can sit in the garden and get burnt yay!lol! I'll supply burgers, hot dogs, buns, and salad, oh and fried onions and burger sauce (otherwise claire will eat me lol!)

Have you ever done a hazards essay, got one marked or got a DME marked? Mrs Bramley made us do a DME right at the beginning of the year butshe never marked it and I'm so confused as to how they work. Laso have no clue to how to write a hazards essay either. Any ideas?

Nope never done a Hazards essay. Nope never got a DME marked (though we were assured several times that it had been marked and that she was going to give it back to us...personally I think she lost them).

Hazards essay is basically the same structure as your coursework. It has to have an intro (i think its 10 marks, and conclusion is 10 and the rest is the middle stuff) - the intro is just definition of key words, introducing case studies etc. The middle is the discuss part, or whatever the question is. So out in diagrams if you want and give details of case studies (though remember its not case study led). and then conclude.

You will do fine oh great and wonderful Hoi Ming!
