I get home from the Found Footage Festival (awesome!) and find that I can't even pull into my apartment complex because it is surrounded by about 10 cop cars.
I hate to gawk on the misery of others but damn if my basest instincts haven't crawled out of the woodwork.

Are you talking about that time at your mom's when there were kids with chains or weapons or something going after that other kid in the parking lot of the church across the street, and then Damon called the cops even though we had a huge hookah on your front porch?

Oh wait! I remember what you're talking about now. It was another guy-takes-wife/girlfriend-hostage thing.
My memory is such crap.
It's unfortunate how often that scenario happens.
