I guarantee you horrible period actors, fresh apple cider, grown men in bear costumes, and a realllyyy scary conductor on the railroad who freaked my kids out with his three squished fingers. "

I have to leave this as an anonymous message, because I am in rehab for my extended visits to the wonderland of Huckleberry Railroad / Crossroads Village as a child. The trauma of the repeated touture is just begining to subside. It is exactly as horrid a picture you paint, and sadly enough I live far too close to the attraction.

Wow...Huckleberry Railroad. I can remember my parents dragging Shawn and I there on one of the most dreary, cold, rainy fall days ever. I was hoping against hope that it had some connection to Hanna-Barbera cartoons (Huckleberry as in Huckleberry Hound), but alas, it was only a poor man's Greenfield Village.

Sleeping on the bus. Ouch. This coming from someone who can fall asleep anywhere.
