Lightweight issues - Didn't see that coming

I've been really proud of myself. In the last 4 months I've added two new holes to my belt, taken it IN by ~5cm (2"). I've been very careful with eating less starches and junk. The other day, being at the doctor and noticing the nifty-keen BMI machine, I weighed myself (BMI is BS). I'm now 87 Kg (192 lbs.). Only thing is, that about two years ago, ( Read more... )

If they have a different scale, or you had your appointment at a different time of day...wearing different shoes, etc. Sometimes the nurse will round up or down, etc.

As I wear relatively heavy work-shoes (a size 12 Blundstone), I'm always careful to take my shoes off. But yes using a different scale is a reasonable factor. Just that I was expecting a MAJOR shift in weight, like maybe 5-6 Kg (11-15 lbs.). I mean it IS two inches off the waist. I doubt there would be that much a difference between scales.
