Ahahaha! I meant those dresses. ^__^ Certainly you won't find an old Malay makcik like me wearing them ... I'm afraid I have to restrain myself to the loose type of Baju Kurung and made to measure kebayas (only for Raya and weddings though - I wear regular clothes the rest of the time)!

Oh yes also Malay ... although my Malay isn't brilliant, and once upon a long time ago I could actually speak Javanese too! I picked it up when my late great-grandmother lived with us. Sadly I lost it after she passed on as everyone else spoke mostly English and some Malay in our home.

Being Singaporean, and considered Malay by ethnicity, I am actually quite proud of my Boyanese (on my father's side) and Javanese(on my mother's side) heritage. ^__^

So yeah feel free to use Malay/Bahasa on me anytime, will do my best to answer in kind but mostly I'll stick to English hee and uhhhmmm rambly is rambly, maaf ya!
