It's been a while since I started to put my twitter to LJ. But I think it's time to quit that too. I am going to keep this account but will use it mainly to read fanfic!

I don't think I'll be commenting on the fics since I usually DL them and read them on the go. I still read them though!
I see you are trying to read the Beekeeper series. I wonder what you think of it. I listened to the audiobook and found it a lot better than I thought it would be. Debating whether to read more....

Everyone said the Beekeeper premise shouldn't work at all but it did. I agree, though I can't say why. Fully realized characters, maybe, or the way the author has made Holmes her own and clearly distinguished him from the character in the stories. My initial trouble was that the book was somehow /too/ solid for my expectations (I'll admit I was expecting Amelia Peabody). But the plot is beginning to grab me, so I shall continue. Not grabbed enough to break my bookfast by getting the sequel, but some day I may.
