Following my issue regarding Airtel's GPRS service, the technical department contacted me. They claim that I will not be able to receive voice calls when there is network activity (like loading a page, downloading files etc).

Use Hutch.

When you're getting an incomming call, GPRS is temporarily dropped.

Atleast that's how it works on my phone.... Maybe it's just your phone that sux. But I doubt that. Yours is a later model than mine.

GPRS on Hutch is expensive. :(

Well, he's _paying_ for it on Airtel, and it's the same price.... If it's expensive on Hutch, it's expensive on Airtel! :o)

I am currently paying Rs. 499/mo for GPRS on Airtel.
