After the said incident at the music room, Tatsuya and Ryo was always together.
They came to school together, have their lunch together and even go home together. They became best friends and Ryo falls for Tatsuya more and more, every time they spend their time together.
After a quite some time, Ryo thinks that Tatsuya would probably had fallen in love with him, so he confess again.
"Tatsuya, I already said I love you, a million times actually, aren’t you going to reply me back? Don’t you love me?" Ryo asks.
On the other hand, Tatsuya just stare at him and says; "Please, don’t rush me Ryo, I’m not sure yet, but I have a question for you.”
"What is it?" Ryo asks. "Why do you love me?" Tatsuya finally asks.
Ryo stared at Tatsuya, and he seems to debating with himself.
"Honestly?" Ryo asks and soon after Tatsuya nods in response.
"The truth is, I saw my mother in you when you were playing the piano. You see, my mother was a pianist. Ever since I was young, she travelled around the world for concerts and events I didn’t get to spend time with her. But I do love her, since, she's my mom of course, I dreamt of having a wife who is a pianist but, I didn't like the people who asked me out for dates…but when I saw you, I knew I needed to protect you and love you for the rest of my life." Ryo says, with teary eyes. Tatsuya hugged him from the back, eyes teary as well
"I know I’m being girly, but thank you, for thinking that way and for opening up to me." Tatsuya says
'Should I say it?' Tatsuya debates with himself. "Ryo, I may not be the best and I am not your mother, but I’ll try to love you, as much as you love me. I love you too, Ryo."
Ryo smiles and pulls Tatsuya towards him. Now standing facing each other, Ryo looks into his eyes and says “I love you, I’ll try my best to be the best for you…no, I…I’ll make you the happiest person on earth."
Then for the first time, Ryo kisses Tatsuya's lips. After the kiss, they embrace each other and Tatsuya says "Ryo, I trust in you. You won’t hurt me right?"
"Of course, I won’t hurt you, I love you so much. I’ll make you forget that you were hurt and I won’t let anyone hurt you anymore" Ryo says, Tatsuya cries soon after.
Little did they know, a pair of eyes was watching them.
(Next day, history class)
Ryo and Tatsuya were walking down the hall heading to their history classroom. When they arrived, no one was there except for Mr. Naoito,
"I can see you finally moved on, did you already forget about Jin and his death? Its your fault he isn’t here anymore, you don’t have the right to be happy." Mr.Naoito says without looking at them.
Tatsuya just stares at his brother and cries. Ryo looks at Mr.Naoito and back at Tatsuya and then says
"Naoito-san, don’t you think its time for him to move on? Whatever your brother is doing it right now, you can never bring someone back to life, even by taunting your brother." Ryo pulls Tatsuya out of the room.
He then took him to the school rooftop and hugs him tight.
"Its okay, just cry! You can cry all you want now, but promise me you won’t cry tomorrow. Well go through this together." Ryo whispers to Tatsuya. Tatsuya hugs him back and cries.
Ryo sits on the balcony and made Tatsuya sits on his lap and just hugs him.
"Thank you Ryo" Tatsuya kisses Ryo, who of course, kisses him back with much passion.
When they were walking home that in the evening someone calls for Tatsuya; his classmate tells him to go to their bulletin board. After they got there, Ryo and Tatsuya were both surprised to see their pictures in the music room, rooftop, and the history class room. Pictures of them hugging, holding hands, looking at each other, and...kissing.
"Who could have done this? This is private, they shouldn't be taking picture of us like that." Tatsuya says, as he looks at Ryo.
Ryo on the other hand didn't speak, he just looks at the pictures and he was turning red
'Why would they do this? Why are they on us?' Ryo questions in his mind.
He just holds Tatsuya’s hand tighter because he is just being mad. Mad at the person who did this.
Mad at the person who kept hurting them. But he won’t leave it at that "Tatsuya, I will find the person
who did this and make him, moments like this shouldn't be published" Ryo says, looking at Tatsuya.
Tatsuya smiles at him and pulls him towards the pictures
"Ryo, lets just keep this pictures, let go of the people who did this, I like some of the pictures, come on, its ok, when we find him, lets just ask him why.” Tatsuya says and starts taking down the pictures.
"But Tatsuya, aren't you mad?" Ryo asks.
"No, I’m not really mad but I am disappointed wit this, yes, they’re kind of mean, spying on us." Tatsuya says while smiling. He saw the picture when Ryo confessed to him. Ryo looks at the picture and smiles.
Later, he takes down some of the pictures too, after they're done, they heads towards their favorite
Room; "the music room". Tatsuya sits on the piano chair and puts the pictures on the piano one by one and looks at them.
"Tatsuya you look so cute here, hugging me like this" Ryo says, Tatsuya was about to reply when Mr. Naoito and their classmate, Reio, Jin’s brother burst in the room.
"You shouldn’t have another relationship after what you did to my brother. You killed him!" Reio shouts at the couple, later he smiles "But I won’t allow this, I’ll tell your parents Nishikido-san, and they'll bring you back to Osaka when I show them these pictures." Reio finishes.
Tatsuya stands up and says "Reio, you did this? Why? I thought you'll always be my friend! You promised me at the funeral." Tatsuya was now close to tears and really confuse.
"Tatsuya, I told you, you don’t have the right to be happy." Naoito says coldly.
Tatsuya and Ryo look at each other then Tatsuya cries. Ryo stands up and pull Tatsuya to stand behind his back says "I told you I won’t let anyone hurt you and I’ll protect you."
"Enough!" both Naoito and Reio shout.
"Is this how Jin would want it? Will he hurt me if I forget him? Will he not understand me? That’s not the Jin that I know of."
Tatsuya says then he looks at Reio and Naoito "I had enough of this, I don’t want to do this anymore. I give up.” Tatsuya states then he look at Ryo."Ryo, lets end this, they just won’t stop, we’ll never be happy when they're like this. Just remember I love you very much" Tatsuya says to Ryo and kisses him.
Then he got out of the room.
Ryo walks toward Reio and Naoito, "I thought you people should understand the most, but then you can’t even forgive him for an accident that he didn't even want to happen. Jin and I love Tatsuya very much, we want him to be happy, but you have to these stupid things and make him feel worthless. Jin must be really mad at both of you right now for hurting the one he love. I know he won’t forgive you, because I won’t" he said and punch both Reio and Naoito.
"Today, I lost the person I really love but I’ll get him back! Whether you like it or not. Got it?" Ryo says. Just when he was about to run after Tatsuya, "Nishikido-kun, do you really love my brother? Would you risk everything to protect him? Even losing your family?” Naoito asks. Ryo stands before him "I love him very much that I could give up everything just to be with him." Ryo says.
“Then, you’re free, both of you. Jin would really be happy knowing that somebody loves my brother, as you love him, ne~ Reio." Naoito says as he looks at Jin’s brother. Reio just nod and says "Take care of our Tat-chan and tell him I’m sorry."
"Me too, tell him I’m sorry and I won’t bother your relationship anymore; tell him I’m sorry for everything I did, and I love him very much" Naoito says slowly.
“I know he'll forgive you two, thank you for realizing what had happened was not his fault and that he has the right to be happy, just like everyone else." Ryo says and runs after Tatsuya.
He searches every room in the building but the other boy was not there, then he hears someone walking behind him, he turns around and a lady was standing there "Ne~ Nishikido - kun, hen my brother have problems, I know where he goes to. Have you tried the cemetery?" the lady says "Ueda Mai…you’re Tatsuya's sister. Thank you very much!" Ryo says and runs to his car.
He drive until he arrives at the cemetery and walks until he reaches Jins’ grave. Someone was sitting in front of it. "Ne~Jin, how are you? I know you’re ok. Jin are you mad, that I’m happy with another person? Jin, I finally found him, he takes care of me and he loves me, he really is a great person, you know I like him too, I really love him. But, my brother and Reio are making it hard, I want to be with Ryo all the time, he makes me really happy but then..." Tatsuya says slowly.
"Can’t you fight them? You love me right? Why did you let me go?"Ryo says, he was now standing behind Tatsuya. "Akanishi Jin-san, I’m Nishikido Ryo, and I really love Ueda Tatsuya, I promise I’ll make him happy as long as we both live." Ryo says.
"Ryo, how did you know I was here?" Tatsuya asks.
"Your sister told me. Tatsuya, we’re free now. They apologized for what they did to you, and they just want you to be happy. Would you want to happy with me?" Ryo says.
Tatsuya stands up and faces Ryo."Ryo, this is Jin, my best friend. Jin this is Ryo and I’m going to be happy with him, ne~, I know you'll watch us from above." Tatsuya says and smiles at Jin’s gave and Ryo.
"Ryo, I love you, thank you very much for being here with me." Tatsuya says and kisses him on the lips and Ryo kisses him back.
And their love last forever.
