"Thanks for having me! This is really, really amazing," Sophie gushed.

Sophie has never, ever seen anything like Neopolis. Her eyes are wide with excitement as she watches the world around her like some kid who just stepped into Willy Wonka's factory. It made her heart race and for a moment she worried that getting too excited might be bad for her, and she clutches her purse closer to her body. The rattle of pills helps her calm down and she finally tears her eyes away from the people walking past the cab. She should really be careful with the staring, it was totally rude.

"Well, normal girl stuff. Shopping, cocktails. . ." Her voice trailed off and she looked over at Li. "Ever get a facial, get your nails done?"

The thought that she's the different one in this city, as opposed to New York where no one would look at her twice, does cross her mind. She wonders if Pete and Li felt out of place in New York.

Sophie holds her hands out to study her own chewed up nails. "Sure, painted, filed, buffed and all that good stuff."

"Oh, that is no good," Sophie tilts her head a little bit. "Maybe you could rub a dryer sheet on his head, to get rid of the static." And she can see that going over real well with Petey.

"Are you two - intimate?" She's not sure why she asks the question maybe because she's been thinking about something to hold on to and that leads to certain thoughts.

That makes Sophie laugh and she nods her head. "Yes, probably, we're not dealing with static cling here, but some serious electricity. Though with all those dryer sheets he'll start to smell like Mountain spring in no time."

It takes a lot to make the dark skinned woman blush but she does. "I figured, I just didn't know. It was an intensely personal question, I'm sorry."
