That's partially right, anyway. It IS a commercial crapfest designed solely to frustrate and annoy. It's not just picking on you, though.

Why don't you go tell someone you aren't fond of to go "get crotched"?

but what would the infinitive "to crotch" mean? you could make it a verb, but verb's have specific actions, slang or not.
