AIM/MSN; x Lost the Game

Character Name; Larxene
Series/Fandom; Kingdom Hearts

Personality;
Larxene is certainly unique in personality. Though she lacks a heart to feel real emotions, the memory of them etched a personality into her Nobody. And not the friendliest of personalities, either.

Larxene appears almost bubbly at first- but it's a short lived first impression. The reality of the situation is that she's a sadistic woman with a biting tongue and a twisted sense of fun. She often considers the victims of her little games her 'toys', and finds it disappointing that they break so easily.

Haughty and arrogant, it's never wise to order her around, less you find yourself wearing daggers in your gut. Her temper is often short, and she oozes sarcasm.

Strangely enough, however, she has a deviant intelligence, always one to scheme- anything to make the game more interesting, and thus, more fun. The playful exterior hides a malicious, mocking, and cruel core, and she's always one to flaunt it when the opportunity arises.

Larxene is, to sum her up in one word- a bitch.

Strengths/Abilities;
With control over lightening, anyone challenging her would be in for quite a shock- literally. She can create it, manipulate it, and use it to smite you from above if you piss her off enough. In addition to that, she wields a set of throwing knives, which she can summon- and wouldn't hesitate to make quick use of them.

Her aim is also excellent, and she moves with a speed befitting of the element that she controls. If you want to hurt her, you would have to catch her first. And without being killed, at that.

Her lack of heart acts as a strength as well, as she can feel no pity, remorse, or empathy, leaving nothing mentally to hold her back from her fun.

Weaknesses;
Physically, she is weak against water. However, she also has many psychological weaknesses worth noting as well.

For one thing, her lack of heart means that she isn't able to feel for other people, and would be quick to betray their trust once it suited her needs. Making allies would become difficult after a time, and she would have few to rely on should she ever find herself in a bad situation. In addition to that, her arrogance makes her enemies fast- not that she cares, or even minds. Actually, the fact that she would find that perversely enjoyable is another facet of her weakness.

She also has a small frame, meaning she isn't physically durable despite her unproportional strength.

Background;
Little, if not nothing, is known about Larxene's past prior to losing her heart and becoming a Nobody. It can be said, however, that her previous life was essentially a template for how her behaviour as a Nobody was determined.

Not too long after she lost her heart, Larxene became the twelfth member of Organization XIII, an organization created for the purpose of studying hearts in hopes of the members regainined their lost ones someday. Unsurprisingly, though, she had higher aspirations than that. It wasn't long before another member sensed this. That member was the eleventh, Marluxia- and also the newly selected Lord of Castle Oblivion, which was the Organization's second base.

Their goal was a simple one, really- the overthrow the Organization and take control for themselves.

And it was a goal that they plotted long and hard to obtain.

Things went decidely in their favour the day Naminé arrived. As the result of strange cirsumstances- being created when Kairi's heart was inside Sora- the girl had the ability to manipulate the memories of anyone associated with Sora. Being that he was the Keybearer, control over Sora was indeed an advantage.

Naminé at least proved useful in that aspect, though she was still nothing more than a mere witch in Larxene's eyes.

With their plans in motion, Larxene and Marluxia worked alongside the eighth member, Axel, in an attempt to make Sora their pupper instead of a puppet for the Organization- which was the guise they were working under. With Sora as their puppet, Larxene and Marluxia planned to use him to overthrow the Organization itself.

Sadly, that would have come too easily. They ran into quite a few ruts along the way, including the group of scientists working in the basement- numbers IV, V, and VI, respectively- Vexen, Lexaues, and Zexion. They were Elder Organization members, whom conquently began working against Larxene and Marluxia, causing trouble for their plans.

Larxene even went so far as to mock Vexen, taunting him as Marluxia expressed his doubts. Where was good help these days, really?

But with Vexen's failure to stop the Keybearer- and his death as a traitor at the hands of Axel- it was finally Larxene's turn to play. Her only encounter with the Keybearer earlier had been to test him, to 'jog his memory', tricking him into thinking that the little witch was actually the one he had been searching for in the castle.

This time, she would actually get to have fun. Mocking him yet again, she tossed aside the unconscious body of Vexen's experiment- a replica of Sora's best friend Riku, that had gotten it's memory somehow modified into thinking he had to protect Naminé. She continued to tease, mocking him for a memory that didn't even exist, before threatening to destroy a star shaped 'trinket' he had been carrying as a momento of his old friend, Kairi.

What she hadn't been expecting was such retaliation, and the brat actually had the nerve to strike her. This cued yet another battle- but this time, the intention was to have more permanent results. Losing the battle in disbelief, she began to fade-- finding herself soon after within the boundaries of a caged city.

Samples

Third-person sample;
Larxene stifled a yawn. Yes, a yawn. What was this, a slumber party? A roll of her green eyes accented the state of boredom, as she let a spark dance up around her fingers. There weren't even any toys up and about for her to play with. All in hiding, she was sure. And the savage nymph was hardly in a mood for hide and seek today.

The spark made it's way up and around her wrist before spiraling down to her palm, where she closed her fist around it.

Maybe she'd have to go looking after all. Certainly, this was no way for her to spend her day. What a waste of time! Of course, she found little here that was worth her time. Even the people here were so dull- what was the point in playing with something if it broke almost instantly?

A scowl darkened her face at the thought. So boring. So very, very boring. What, oh, what was she to do with them? Oh, so many ideas, but so much planning. She would have to find Marluxia sooner rather than later- that was a given. Preferably before she drowned in her own boredom.

As was obvious, this wasn't a state the twelfth member enjoyed nor was accustomed to. She had no plans to get used to it, either. If nothing exciting was going to happen, well, she would just have to take care of that little problem herself.

Let them hide away in their safe little houses for now. It's not like it'll last long, after all.

First-person sample;
Isn't this just wonderful. Really, I'm absolutely delighted to be here. And a cage, hmn? I'm insulted that anyone thinks I'd want to leave.

My, with all this hospitality, I'd be dying to come back. And in a hurry, too.

Now, who wants to answer a few questions. They're simple ones, I promise! We can even make a game out of it. Just a fun~ little~ game~ ♥

Ready?

Because I've got the first one already.
