"Full Moon Gratitude"

Just a chance...
That's all we had
A small chance
To rock the sky
With everything we had,
Though everything we had
Might seem small to some people.

We sat there, on cold granite,
With curbside gratitude,
Glad that we had made it.
The night tried to sleep, and we were there
Together.
