Seriously, read my post from a few days ago on the virtues of Gmail... The "label" feature and a more database-like approach are so awesome I don't know why I've never thought of them. I hope Google doesn't kill the project. (there's an ominous line in the terms of use that they can terminate the service without any prior notice...)
