Yankees game & work

I went to see my first Yankees game this evening with a bunch of people from my church. It was a lot of fun. It was a very close game and the Yankees ended up winning in the end (with a homerun), so it was a very exciting end ( Read more... )

Your work area looks totally different from mine. Our desks are in waist-high cubicles, so you have a bit of privacy, but it's still very open (and sunny too with big windows not far away).

Some of the offices here in New York have those waist-high cubicles. I think Ben worked in one. Most of my floor follows the computer lab-style, which they seem to have modelled after the trading floor.

Not sure that I could work in a completely open environment like that...oh wait...I have at Arius.

We've also got the waist-high cubicle walls - I quite like them actually - mixed in with the regular height ones.

When you applied for your SSN, was your I94 already through the system or did they have to do the manual checks?
