There's always West Shore. I joined it because I thought it would give me a reason to practice. That idea didn't work. I still like playing somewhere other than at school though.

I know Staud has been an ass about this whole thing, but if you quit orchestra I think you would lose something you love. It's that thought that kept me going after spending sophomore year in concert, having him yell at me for furthering my eduation and going to Washington DC with Close Up rather than attending destival, and after knowing I didn't make it into chamber - something I really wanted for all that I knew I wasn't good enough. It's hard and it sucks, and is just going to be your decision. I can't believe the lecture he gave today - that was shitty of him.
