pardon my absence. i'm back now, and boy, do i have a lot of pictures. i'll try to break this up into phases.
taylor and mike came to visit, as i mentioned before.
chinatown, home of bright white skies! we went there for dinner after
they got here, and ate at a small, crowded, noisy restaurant, which we
didn't mind much because we were exhausted and starving by that point.
using the guidebook so generously provided by my undisclosed sources,
we discovered a restaurant that was famous for its dumplings. they were
pretty good, though it was kind of expensive. like everything else.
yar. moving on. we were in a strange part of chinatown in that it
wasn't that touristy -- even though there were a lot of shops and such,
you could tell people actually lived there.
next day was the carnegie deli (because expensive food is fun!) and central park.
mike ate a turkey burger bigger than his face. taylor had an entire turkey dinner (complete with cranberry sauce).
worst-written plaque ever.
statue of a king of poland. it's pretty impressive; he's on a massive horse.
there was a saxophonist playing the "sesame street" theme here in the park, and kids on a school field trip were dancing.
the happiest dog in the entire park. and it's my fountain again.
