So, um, hello?

Hello everyone. So I was reading through the last couple simsecret posts today, and I saw a secret asking where I'd gone. And then I realized that I'd always intended to make a post explaining, but somehow never had. I'm very sorry ( Read more... )

*SQUEE*

One of the things that really had me about your absense was "if there's been problems wouldn't she have said something about it?"

Oh, don't worry. There will be plenty of TS2ers well after June 2. Me, because of my bad computers and the issue of EA+TSR's relationship.

RIP Floras :( I really wish Peony and Tent Who Cares would've made it far. At least the Thayers may be coming back!

I really hope you find interest in the game and the community again. You have a great sense of humor and a knack for storytelling that I and many others have missed.

:)

At first, when I left, I was just so overwhelmed with personal issues and other things that I just couldn't find the energy to write up an explanation. And since then... Well it's a bad excuse, but I kept thinking I should do it and putting it off. I think I was half worried that people would get angry or something.

I wish Peony had made it to. What I really wish is that I'd thought to clone and upload her before I deleted the game.

Thank you. I hope I find interest again to. I'm thinking of booting the game up today and giving it a try... we'll see.

It was actually more of a *quietsquee* because there were people within hearing range whom I didn't feel like explaining this whole thing to. I had to hold my breath to keep from *LOUDSQUEE*-ing.

I would be sad, just as much as I was without any explanation, but I personally would've never gotten angry. You gotta do what you gotta do, and for you it was to resolve those personal issues of yours.

We'll see! :D

Also, to raise some interest, why not ask to join someone else's round robin legacy? Joining in a later generation would help because you could get some ideas out of what's already happened. They also tend to go beyond 10 gens, if more than 10 people have asked to do a gen.

Would love to see a new legacy by you, as would many I'm sure, but the game being no fun is a common problem. ;_; Especially when you've taken a break.

Just out of curiosity, are you planning to get the Sims 3?

I'm thinking of booting the game up today and giving it a try. My husband is going to work and leaving me alone (and bored) so I might as well, right? :D

I'm... thinking about it? Though I believe my computer should be able to handle it now, I don't really have the money. Also, I worry about Securom. And the potential lack of custom content. Not sure, I haven't been keeping up with the news about it.

I opened my game the other day and just kind of stared at it. This happens a lot to me when I get into a playing lull. I open it back up and it's like, okay, what was I doing?

Ahh. Well I am sure that after it comes out you'll find out enough information to make a decision.

Thanks, and yes, they are!

I miss them too, but there wasn't much I could do about it at the same. My computer sort of just gave up on me.

Playing with Maxis characters is always fun. When I first re-installed the game, I had an idea and everything (Goddess and God names, in alphabetical order by generation, etc), but then I was just... blah.

It does. Real life sucks some times.

Why no Sims 3 for you, if I may ask?
