So hi, it's me again... if people even look at this anymore. Anyway, I recently got a new computer on it, and on a whim, I decided to install Sims 3 (which did NOT work on my old, crappy computer), and low and behold, IT WORKS!!! And nicely, too

That's good to know! I was a little unsure about Sims 3 but I was playing a bit yesterday and it's fun so far.
It's okay! I went on a bit of a download spree already and got a lot of hairs, and some skins and eyes I'm gonna try out in game soon.
Thanks for the comment, though! :D

I haven't been in the Sims/Legacy community for SO long, I don't even know where to begin anymore, lol. I'm amazed anyone still watches this journal.

OMG IT IS YOU. *falls off chair*
I was just thinking about how much I miss all the old legacy writers that have disappeared!
I haven't gotten in to TS3 yet (only have basegame on my new computer), but what CC I do have (and what CC I'm going to get when I start playing properly), I snagged off
Cat's resource post. ^_^

I was wondering if any of the old legacy writers are even AROUND anymore, lol.
Yeah, I only have the basegame because I bought it when it came out but it didn't work. How many extensions are there? Thanks for the link!!! I'll check that out.

UMMM. World Adventures (which adds vacations and questing! You get to explore tombs!), Late Night (which I haven't played, but has vampires), Ambitions (adds all sorts of playable careers, like ghost hunter, where you actually take your sim and go hunt ghosts), and Generations, which is the brand new one and has all sorts of stuff that takes TS3 from feeling like an adventure game to feeling like a proper sim game. There are also stuff packs, but I have no idea about them. XD

Ohhh, those all sound cool. I'll have to look into it, when I have some money to spare. For now I just need to get me some custom content, lol.

This is the best place to find custom content. Bluebells hair was converted for sims 3 ages ago too but it was so long ago, I don't remember where to find it so you'd have to search through A LOT of pages. ^^;

I saw that place, cool! If I could find Bluebell's hair that would be awesome, haha.

As for the custom content, I am sticking with the Sims 3 website store. I have got a few things from TSR, but that's about it.
