how about the Tommorrow People :)

and the one that still bugs me to this day, a low budget show, about a young man who was supposedly unconscious at the bottom of a lift shift, while he was mentally running around some weird dreamlike environment, and when they finally came to rescue him, he wasn't in the elevator shaft at all.......spookyness. (At least thats what I remember, very probably wrong about the details)

Tomorrow People intro and end credits. This is from a later one - no Carol, Stephen or Kenny. Watching 'The Medusa Strain" (from Alice's as muerk said), Kenny passes out after Tim uses some of his life-force to reanimate Stephen and John, I was able to exclaim, "Oh my God, Tim's killed Kenny!". TP really would suit the MST3K treatment, esp. if they could get some British comedians to do it.

I don't remember your mystery show, but we managed to find SuperTed by googling from a vague description since we couldn't remember the name. If it was on TV2 in the early 70s, it's possible I never saw it since we didn't have that channel. Likewise for TV3 in the 80s.

Yay! Strange British kids' TV from the 70s. I like the way Magnus Pike used to say 'ga-doing!' when demonstrating one thing acting on another.
