I feel like actually putting effort in to school this semester... and I realized why. Because I no longer care about anything else. ... No. That's not it. It's because the things I do care about, I cannot change. But my performance in school, that I can change.

wouldn't it be more accurate to say that you care about actually getting somewhere in life? and ya know.. putting effort into your school work will get you quite far.
