someone PLEASE tell me how to do lj cuts and post pictures and all that cool stuff on here.....i'm tired of having the lamest lj out of like everybody I know.....sucks.

ok... you've gotta know some html to do this stuff. but here's the basics for what you want to do.

LJ-cuts
To do a cut, put these tags before and after the stuff you want cut:

[lj-cut text="The text you want for the link"]
Text you want cut
[/lj-cut]
Replace the [ ] symbols with < >. If i used the < >, it would just see it as code, so I couldn't type them in.

For a picture, it has to be a picture that you have uploaded to some web server, or a picture at another website. But do this:
[img src="http://address.for.the.picture"]
But replace the [ ] with angle brackets like these < >
