The whole town's been one big welcoming committee... Almost disturbingly friendly. There's this floating creature that won't leave me alone, but lots of people seem to have them and it's not terribly talkative...

[pause: stop sulking a moment and think, Doctor]

This mark does more than identify us as foreign to this land at a glance. When a curse washes over the city, it shines with the same blue glow as the coral. It may serve as a thread that runs between us and the coral's magic.

[10 wasn't paying much attention to his SFC, which was on and sitting a few feet away. A familiar voice pours forth from the SFC, though, and he just has to take a look. 10 quickly grabs it and replies with a grin.]

Hullo, me! It's me, me! Well, I'm the 10th of me. Us.

[10 clears his throat. Changing the subject, he loosens his tie to reveal a similar "tattoo" on his right collar bone.] We match! Not that I've figured out what these are... My best bet is that they are to tag people who were not originally of this world.

Oh! Right! I should explain! There is some sort of force that is dragging citizens of various universes to this plane. I've yet to be able to figure out anything else. One would think that a power source as large as one that could teleport people from different universes would be quite easy to find...
