one time i even freaked out because i thought that by the age of 22 i should be close to settling down. later testing proved this hypothesis to be utterly ridiculous.

i thought i had to do EVERYTHING before i was twenty. and i thought that i should be married by 23. thoughts like these are rampent in the church community that i grew up in because everybody seems to get married super young and if you're not amoung those people you feel kinda worthless sometimes. i'm really glad that i got away from this town for two and a half years and lived among people with completely different perspectives. i will be 25 in march and there is no settling down on my horizan as far as i can see. not yet anyway. and i don't feel like crap about it.

my older sister is 25 and is getting ready to be married for the second time. thank god for older siblings who screw up first so i don't have to.

i'm resetting my target age for 28
