[mini-series] Italian Rendezvous (part 1)
That’s exactly what I mean, why can’t we behave like adults….in love?
“Okay, good night then, bye”, Jun said goodbye, a subtle smirk on his face.
You’re killing me, you know that?
“Bye”, Sho said briefly, a little bit angrily
Jun opened the door and left, leaving Sho frustrated once again.
Sho sank back to the sofa. What the hell was wrong with Jun? Hadn’t they been waiting long enough now?
But Sho reminded himself of his promise to wait patiently. He wanted to amend what he did to Jun years ago, so now let Jun decide, he thought.
He got up and walked down the corridor to the shower room, and something caught his eyes. On top of the cabinet at the corridor, something unfamiliar caught his attention. He looked at it closer and it appeared to be an envelope, and a memo on top of it, with Jun’s handwriting. And what made his heart leapt was the message.
Coming?
Tomorrow, 07.00 am, Narita.
Sho opened the envelope and couldn’t believe what he found. It was a ticket for Rome the next day. A part of him thought of calling Jun to scold him for making such impossible, sudden plans, but a larger part of him urged to pack immediately. Sho hurriedly took out his planner book and checked, and amazed. He didn’t have any schedules for the next 3 days. Did Jun check this with his manager? Or maybe he even peeked into his planner?
Sho smiled so widely and minutes later already busy packing for a 2-nights 3-days trip with Jun.
