Thanks! I just followed the pattern. Though I didn't realise those were hands until I was finished and I got the candle in and lit. :) Hope you had a nice Halloween.
I did! Rather lacking in the pumpkin section, though. Have to do better next year.
But had more trick or treaters than candy, for the first time in my life! Thankfully I had little gifts of pens and pencils, too, although those are usually not as appreciated. Better for the teeth, though. The parents tend to prefer the pens and pencils.
It's great that you had so many trick or treaters. We had about the same amount as last year I think. My Mom buys tons of candy, the stuff that won't spoil like dum-dums and Smarties, and we have always have some left over. I can see where the parents would prefer the pencils, but I can also see the kids being less than thrilled that a perfect stranger cares so much about their teeth. :D
