Cute and decorative earring holder that takes up NO counter space!

I've seen lots of random things people have done with old picture frames on pintrest. Seeing ones that are for necklace storage & display, etc. So I decided I'd had enough of my earrings being all over the place because they don't all fit on my earring tree. Which, also takes up precious counter top space in my bathroom.

This looks fantastic! I made a similar one using an old wooden tea display box, but yours turned out a lot better than mine. Thinking back, painting the screen probably would have made mine look a lot better.

I screwed some cup hooks onto the bottom of mine to hang necklaces. It works really well. Depending on how sturdy your frame is you might be able to do something similar with yours.

Thanks!!! I would try the hook thing if the frame were wood. But with it being plastic, I think I'm just gonna make a second one specifically for necklaces and headbands.

Gives me an excuse to make a chartruse one!! *lol*
My two favourite colours :)

The next "big" project I want to try is actually one that I found that sits "inside" a framed piece of art. Basically, think of a medicine cabinet behind the frames, but it's made for jewelry specifically inside. http://pinterest.com/pin/208854501439329678/

Like that.

But with that said, I have so many projects I want to do, add my cakes to that, and I'm a busy monkey!
So that one will likely have to wait a while ;)

BTW, I'm Shonao on pintrest as well :)
