Well, ok - try Snow Patrol for mellow guy singer stuff. I've been really into them lately. Rooney is good stuff. A friend of mine pointed out that they are a little bit like early Weezer. I haven't heard much from The Secret Machines, but I like their single, "Nowhere Again." It reminds me a bit of The Tragically Hip, if you're into that Canadian scene :) And have you heard The Penfifteen Club's "Hey, Miss Hilton" from the Simple Life soundtrack? I think you'd dig it. And maybe check out the Polyphonic Spree. Not sure if you'll like it, but it's definitely different. Y'know what? As soon as I get a new CD burner, I'll make you a comp. And it will be fun.
