I told Andrew (my fiance) that I am to have my 40-page paper done in two weeks, and he told me that I was Not Allowed to read, write, or do anything that did not pertain to Fellows work for the next two weeks. LOL! I would be totally freaked out too if my husband had tried to plan more or do more for our wedding.

Even today he called to ask about how I made something, he was talking about changing a recipe that I regularly make (He's playing Mr. Mom for the next few weeks)and I started getting control crazy about how to change it...what to do and what not to do.

Did I mention that for the past 14 years he's been a PREP AND LINE COOK?

Finally he just cut me off with a "Maybe I will just put some trust in my cooking instincts."

"I'll stop being a anal freak about it, since I can't be there to cook it myself. Have fun playing, just have it ready by six when I get home."

After a week, he still hasn't done much. It's okay though; I can't seem to relinquish my hold over the position of Key Wedding Planner. I just know most of the details. He's doing the music now, so I don't have to worry about that stuff, which is nice.

Hilarious! I would be worried if Andrew tried to cook one of my recipes. He always adds cinnamon and jerk seasoning to EVERYTHING! But I think that your husband might be more than qualified for the position of cooking a recipe of yours... don't you love being a control freak like me? : )
