Of course there are things around. If you're careful and know how to fight, nothing should maul you straight off the main ways, though.

Then I suggest you head down to the basement and play with Vexen's scientific equipment if your looking for something fun. Maybe he's still got that creature's body somewhere nice and frozen, you could play operation with it.

Oh there's plenty of things out there that will maul you, keyblade bearers included. Just be on your guard. I dumped Demyx in the woods the other day. He found his way out just fine.

Sounding like a broken record here, but what'd Demyx do? And I think it's best if I, like, pass on the mauling by Keyblade bearers there.

He did nothing. I killed something earlier, he wanted it to experiment on, and so I brought it's body back for him to do so.

When does Demyx do anything other than try one's patience? I'm sure they'd be pleased to see you Xigbar.
