This is mostly for my own reference: RANDOM FACTS
FAKE cast, please feel free to point out my failures at math, reading, noticing things, etc ♥
Dates/times of year are judged from this timeline
Where JJ's taken from in Canon, dates relating to that, etc:
- JJ's taken from late-June, right after Act 17 (the case where Carol was kidnapped by the guy who cuts hands off young girls)
- I'm putting Act 15 (the Max Fork chapter) around late March/early April (for the sake of giving it a date, lets call iiiit... April 9th? that Max died.), so only about 2 months or so before JJ arrived at camp. I CAN HAS EMO BUTTON?
- Where I've taken JJ from, he's been with the 27th for almost 2 years. (...I think. DAMN YOU, TIMELINE.)
Random Canon Facts about JJ:
- He and Dee have known each other since Police Academy
- He also knew Max Fork from academy, but Dee didn't know him.
- The Academy Dee and JJ went to wasn't near the 27th (Dee tells Ryo he moved after Graduation to get away from him)
- JJ transferred to the 27th with 6 months experience as a sniper, and his shooting ability is compared to Ryo's, who is the top shooter in the precinct.
- JJ travels pretty frequently. In volume 2, he's been away visiting the LAPD, and then immeadiately leaves to fly out to England to find Dee and Ryo.
- JJ's family is pretty rich, and it's pretty easy assume that JJ's pretty well-off as well. ( See Dee's NYPD facts here for info on how much JJ probably makes a year.)
Random Headcanon Facts about JJ/The part where you watch me make shit up:
- His birthday is April 14th.
- He's an only child, and is very close to his parents, who live upstate. His mother's name is Caren, and his father's name is Roger.
- He has never actually dated a girl, but when he was in high school, he went to prom with a female friend.
- He has always been clingy and I'M IN YOUR PERSONAL SPAACE towards people he likes, even before he knew Dee. He's worse with Dee, though. ♥
- He and Max dated while in police academy, before Max met Liza. It wasn't anything serious, because JJ was still enamoured with Dee, but it lasted a good few months.
- JJ started police academy when he was 22, after graduating from college with a degree in Criminal Justice. After leaving the academy, he was a beat cop for almost a year, before becoming a detective. Shortly after, he started working as a SWAT sniper. 6 months later he transferred to the 27th. (PLEASE NOTE: I have no idea how police forces work, so this may be incredibly innaccurate, but I'm just trying to work out a timeline in my head. Also, I have pretty much no idea about the SWAT thing, because I dunno if regular detectives can be SWAT or not. lol idk watch me make things up!)
