Great recs! Many of them are new to me. I'll put them on my to-read list. The pictures are all great matches, but I really love the one for On This Day in History! :-)

That's the one which inspired the whole idea of 'desperate times' so I'm really pleased you've mentioned it. The beginning of the story is one of my very favourite beginnings, if not *the* favourite. I love the way Doyle wants to touch anything of Bodie's, even his blood, and how the thought of Bodie, fighting alone and for his life, tears at Doyle's heart.

I'm always worried people might be getting tired or bored with 'Visions' so it was lovely to see your comment. Thank you!

Your comments excited *me*! - I live in hope for comments like that.

'Man on the line', its almost as if the authors have written their stories to match the image!

I had to smile when I read that as the original picture (from blu ray, I don't think it's actually in the episode) had Doyle with his hand palm upwards in a kind of beseeching type of posture and I had to cut it out as it didn't fit with the quote but the rest did so I'm very glad you mentioned it!

Thank you *so* much for your comment! I really hope you enjoy your reading.

Wow, that was a head spin! Every one of those scenes crackled with intensity. I don't think I could get a knife between them, on the desperation level, and they were all wonderfully varied scenarios and responses. They're also great examples of the writing talent we have in the Pros fandom.

You've made excellent image choices, as usual. I love the tense, frozen moment that you've paired with 'Mollycross', the emotion of the 'Touched Silver' shot and the urgency of that for 'Survival of The Fittest'.

Thank you for another fabulous showcase. :D

I was determined to use the Mollycross image as I loved it. Originally I had the scene from Stopover where Bodie and Doyle are in an outhouse and hear a noise and it's a tramp, but the quality of the image wasn't great so I thought I'd use the one I ended up with.

the emotion of the 'Touched Silver' shot

I couldn't resist that one as I love the shadow aspect.

Thanks so much for liking the post and for letting me know which bits you liked the most.
