Oh! How wonderful! Thank you so much - I've had an amazingly long day, and now you've done this! I'll curl up tonight and have a wonderful wallow. You're such a star - the pictures are gorgeous - can't wait to indulge myself!
So pleased you've found new stories to read and thanks *very* much for your lovely comment re the images and the whole post. It's that kind of comment which always motivates me!
There it is! Yesterday I saw the notice but couldn't find the post. I'm so glad you got it up. I enjoyed it very much. You have some great quotes here, along with your usual stellar choice of pics. Thank you! It was a nice treat to read.
Hopefully it will stay put today! I had to take it down yesterday as, using the scrapbook method for the first time, I hadn't got the security thingie quite right on some of them.
Thank you, as always, for your lovely comment and support for Visions. It's always greatly appreciated.
It's lovely to see MLM being posted - I'm still working my way through her back catalogue.
It's particularly nice to see since, like a dolt, I forgot to bookmark her last messages to me - I thought there was still time to do it, but when I checked they've gone. Fortunately, I'd copied a portion of them to something else and I still have that - and my memories of our discussion . Time flits by too fast, but we still have her stories.
And Vistas - gosh - even my best mate described that as a festival of angst and self-loathing!

It was actually her story which inspired me for the theme itself.

That's such a shame, but you're right, we still have her stories - her thoughts re Bodie and Doyle - but are you saying her journal's gone? That would be a shame as she had so many things to say and reflections on the world around her. I must check.

No her journal is safe and sound, it was just some personal messages I lost - but that's not really what makes me sad - what makes me sad is that there will be no more conversations.
I don't really need a physical reminder to remember our discussions.
And yes, her journal is full of warmth and wit - entertaining and insightful. I know she meant immeasurably more to her loved ones, but I shall miss her voice in fandom always.
And I forgot to say how marvellous your post is. They're always such a treat :0)

Not at all! It's a great piece of writing.
Cheers for that.
