Some unknown stories for me. But your pictures fit so perfectly. And they are beautiful. I love especially the one for Marooned, and Dancing in the Rain. Hehe, and of course the angry Doyle in Bodie to the Rescue. I think I start reading this one. :-)
Thank you for fun and inspiration!
(We definitely need more Pros in our life. At least I do! ;-))
Edit: The story was nice! Some nice Doyle h/c. I never look there, but I should! Thanks again!
I'm so pleased (and surprised!) that I've managed to find any stories which are new to you! That's made my day. And thank you so much for enjoying the pictures and text.

There are some very good stories there, and if they're not slash you can often read them as pre-slash which I love. e.g. Allie/Hutchnstarsk (spelling?) posts some good, strong stories there but I think you can also find them at the usual slash sites.
Thanks so much for your comment, I always appreciate your views.
I hardly ever make it to LJ these days so I was thrilled when you started to post your wonderful visions to AO3 which I do check now and again. But I just had to come and say Thanks for this (I've never got round to registering on AO3 so can only leave Kudos!). And this definitely deserves more than that! So thank you so much for your wonderful choices of snippets and inspired pictures, I shall spend some very happy time indulging this afternoon. And you have included some stories I do not immediately recognise which bodes well, I shall grab a large mug of tea and settle in!
Rosie! It was such a lovely surprise to see your name here and it's so good of you to bother to comment, I do appreciate it. And I'm really pleased you're enjoying Visions at A03. Something technical has changed here on LJ and not everyone's browsers can see the post very well but A03 seems more browser compatible so I thought it a good idea to post there.
It *really* does help to know if people still enjoy the posts and whether or not it's worth continuing, so thank you again very much for letting me know you do. I hope you're still enjoying retirement and keeping well.
Oh, yes, definitely worth continuing, so long as you still enjoy it! I am well, thank you and hope you are. It is, unbelievably, nearly three years since I retired. I go up to my daughter in Isleworth every other week to look after Emily for a day - she will be four in September, can you believe that? And I have a new granddaughter Evelyn who was born to my son and his wife in Dubai in May so I am doubly blessed. Alas, I won't be seeing her so often as Emily. Retirement is good, following a year or two of health problems for my husband, from which he now seems fully recovered and I have taken up new interests, including painting and drawing. But I still read a lot, including Pros, so it is a joy to have you to point my reading to new treasures!
I can't believe it's 3 years since you retired! The time just flies by and events like Christmas seem to come by every few months now rather than once a year! But I'm glad you're enjoying yourself and that your kids and grandchildren are thriving and congratulations on the new addition to your family, Evelyn, that's lovely! And I hope your husband's over his health problems and can enjoy life with you.
Thanks for these wonderful screencaps and the fitting quotes!
"Dancing in The Rain" is such a moving story, especially part two - it nearly had me in tears. Alexandra, Sebastian, PFL, Kate McLean and all the others are so very great authors! (You are a woman with taste ;-)
Why thank you very much, I'm standing taller with pride! Seriously, I'm always so proud of the fandom of Pros when I think of all the excellent writers we have - we're so lucky and blessed to have them. And I agree, Dancing in the Rain is a heart wrenching story, very original and cleverly executed, but the cleverness doesn't make it any less moving.
It was lovely to get your comment, thanks so much.
