Is this the first time people are really making a HUGE deal about voting? Or have I just been ignorant to it before? Do they know something we don't? Or is it just encouragement to exercise our right to vote? I'm very aware of what the political issues are, but I just wanna know--is this election extremely different from all the previous ones we

It definitely seems to be quite the big spectacle, doesn't it? I think it has to do with the war. I'm pretty sure hte elections around previous wars were big too. ALthough, another thing that helps is the media, which is bigger and better than ever before. LIke Doc Brown said in "Back To The Future".... "no wonder the president's an actor, he has to look good on television". :)
