The pirate stares in awe.
"...Well...isn't this int'resting?"
Seems to be a selkie, from what he knows of the world, but it's the wrong part of the world and wholly the wrong temperature. And then there's the resemblance. It's only Jack's own difficulty with recognizing faces that protects him from that mind blowing realization...for now.
"An' whot is it you're doing adrift in these waters, mater? 'Ardly the place for you at all, is it?"

"His PINpoint is around his neck in the form of a silver locket and that's all he's wearing other then body glitter. When one is fishing for pirates it's best to look like treasure." Now that's just about as pretty a picture as one might like on a good day! Hope that child has some sun screen on his er, nose...
"he's pretty sure that what Hell is only with less jellyfish"--funny little detail and truer words were never spoken! Made me laugh.
