The whole day was so romantic. We celebrated 6 months of being married, and just enjoyed Valentines day together. I made Brian breakfast in bed (french toast with confectioners sugar on top in the shape of a heart) eggs, toast... the works. Brian kept peeking at his gifts, so we decided to open them in bed. Wow! How exciting! Everything looks wonderful! Glad you had an amazing V-day! Oh, by the way, Juri got stationed in VA! I don't know all about our plans yet, but if I go out there, we should definately get together! :)

That's so awesome about Juri getting stationed here! Does he know what ship he's going to be on yet? We would definitely have to get together if you come here =]

No, he's not on a ship, he's in a sqaudron. I think they are attached to a ship though, not sure which one! I'll have to let you know when I find out! :)

It's alright... it worked out well anyway, because we're going to stop putting off getting a puppy and actually get one. A kitten and a puppy together would be a nightmare. Yeah, valentines day was great. I'm going to have to read about yours.

House looks lovely. Yep, we just got our washer and dryer on Monday but we have not had the time to really use it. We got a puppy for v-day and let me tell you that bugger is exhausting me to no end. Ha ha ha. Does Bri have off tomorrow? Lucky Geoff has a four day weekend. It should be good because we are still way behind in getting situated in the house. I'm not in a rush but it would be nice to have at least one room that does not look like a tornado hit it.

Awww i wanted a puppy for Valentines day! It looks like we'll be getting one though. We've put it off for a long time because of all of the work. Fortunately, I have a lot of time right now to train a puppy. We want to get a lab or a retreiver. What kind of dog did you get?

Brian doesn't have friday off, he has duty. I guess his duty section is taking next Friday off instead. At least he has a 3 day weekend though. I think I might do some more painting tomorrow while he's at work. Have you started painting yet?

The work doesn't even begin to describe it. I did not get to work till noon today because of the puppy. She has worms which is normal for pups but she just has a very bad case of them.
We have a black retriever mix. Geoff's friend adopted her brother but that's not really working out. He needs someone with a lot of time and patience. I am not sure what he will do with him but it saddens me because I worry he will be put on the back burner.
That's good that they still give him a day off. Unlike the Navy, not to screw people. I'm glad Geoff is home today since Lilly (the puppy) is still coming out of being in the gray zone. I was worrying about her like crazy at work yesterday.
We have not even come close to finishing unpacking. I want to paint but I think this weekend we will finish unpacking and then relax for a month and raise the pup. Once she gets used to us and us to her I would like to start to do somethings with the house.
What are you guys up to this weekend?

uh oh... my kitten has worms. It's awful. I gave her some medicine yesterday, and i'll have to give it again in another two weeks. Isn't it a nightmare? I practically stepped in them the other day.

Your puppy sounds soo cute. Is Geoffs friend trying to get rid of the puppy? Brian and I are looking for one, so let him know that we'd take him if he doesn't have the time. We've gone to 4 different shelters this week, but haven't found any puppies really. We even went to the southside, twice.

I'm not sure what we're doing this weekend. I know that Brian will be sleeping a lot of Saturday because someone on his duty section decided to take today off, so they're on the 6 hour rotation. He was *lucky* enough to get the second watch... so he's going to be exhausted tomorrow. At least he gets to leave right in the morning.

I'm heading over to your journal to see if you have puppy pictures! I'm so jealous =]
