It works to a point. She's still not perfect but I think that has a lot to do with the fact that we're not there all the time or 100% on her like we should be. We've gotten to the point that we just know her better. Like if I hear her take a drink or eat - she pretty much is destined to need to go in the next 2-3 minutes. She has gotten very good at going to the door but she doesn't make any noises so unless we are watching her we are out of luck. We do watch her but her patience is very small. If we don't recognize her needs in about a minute she gets frustrated and just goes. It's so much work but it's getting better thank goodness.

that's good that she lets you guys know that she has to go.... for the most part. Winnie never does and it's sooo frustrating! She doesn't whine or anything.... she just goes anywhere. It's never the same spot, just random places in hallways or the living room. Puppies. *sigh*

Did you and Geoff go to Phils house on Friday?

I never got this comment in my email - weird. Winnie will learn soon I would think. We now have had Lilly for three weeks and she has just started walking towards the door when she has to go. We're now noticing she will have accidents when she gets too excited. Like when someone comes downstairs who she hasn't seen for a little while or someone new or her brother - she piddles and doesn't realize it until a few seconds in and then busts out running for the door dribbling the whole way there. It's kind of cute/funny she is trying but annoying since it's this long line...
No we ended up going to Hooters ( oh my favorite place) and then Ken's. Ken was having a "get together" for his leaving the navy. Did you guys stop by at all?

That piddling Lily story sounds so cute, but i see what you mean about it being annoying. No we didn't end up going to Phil's house, we didn't want to fight tunnel traffic... especially with the pup. We try not to leave her in her crate for longer than 4 hours (except during the night) haha yeah, have you been to the hooters on Mercury blvd? Brian always teases me about getting a job there... because back in college, in rochester, the manager asked me to. that place makes me sick haha.

I don't think I know Ken. But he's a lucky guy! I'm going to throw a party for Brian when he gets out of the Navy.
